Deborah began painting like an other child as soon as she could apply colour to surface, but it wasn't until Deborah turned around 6 years of age that her drawings/paintings were all of mythical looking people, from swimming dolphins to hybrid looking trolls with beautiful gowns.

Her love for art stayed with her & continued to develop her skills throughout school, college & then to finish her degree at Lincoln University.  After University Deborah was swayed into a photography career where she was assured a more suitable way to create a living, as one would say 'you cannot make a living from painting'.

So she carried on with her photography career whilst dabbling with the paint brushes from time to time creating angels & goddesses, which took home to a draw in the kitchen.

In 2009 Deborah's mum passed over from Lung cancer in August, it was this event that realigned where she should be in her life. 

Deborah left her teaching role at Franklin College Grimsby immediately, She wasn't sure where she was heading but she just knew in her gut that where she was currently did not feel right.

Deborah had many spiritual experiences after her Mum crossed over, she knew that her Mum was close by in energy looking over us all. 

Consumed with grief she started to paint again, it became clear that painting brought her peace.

It was 2010 When Deborah plucked the courage to do her first MBS event in Grimsby, she was nervous & thought that her work wouldn't really get noticed. 

She was left astounded that people actually felt drawn to her art - she knew in herself that the spiritual connection was profound, but only to herself, not the public, how wrong was she.
